Sports Mouthguards
Dental Trauma is one of the most common claims ACC receive from kids sports.
The majority of kids are running around with loose fitting mouthguards that offer little or no protection from trauma. As the teeth and jaws develop it is vital to ensure your child has a good custom made Sports Mouthguard – especially if the sport involves contact.
At The Tooth Company Kids a digital scan or mould is taken of your children’s teeth and then the guard is custom made by a lab technician. The guard is reinforced to the level required based on the sport played. Custom Colouring or Team logos can also be incorporated into the mouthguard.
